Like I said in a recent response, you have left out the most important piece of information, what model Canon camera did she have stolen. With this information, I could have given you a definitive answer. Without it, I am forced to guess.

There are only two choices for Canon in the last 25 years. If she had an autofocus camera, she will need to buy another Canon EOS model.

If she had a manual focus Canon (and I am guessing she did) she can buy any of the following used 35mm cameras. All use Canon's FD Mount lens. Canon AE-1, Canon AE-1 Program, Canon A1, Canon F1 (any of the 3 versions), and any of the Canon T series cameras (T70, T90 etc.) BUT I strongly recommend against the T Series because parts do not exist and they are not repairable.

The Canon Speedlite may or may not still work, depending on the integrity of the capacitor, whether the batteries were removed to avoid leakage, etc.

: A friend had a camera stolen two years ago and would like to find that camera or one that fits the tele-photo lens, that she still has. I was wondering if, given the information from the lens, anyone could tell me what camera this lens would fit. She also has a Canon speedlite 244t flash that she would like to also use.
