I'm guessing you are referring to the squeal of one of the Canon A series cameras when the shutter is released.

This is ABSOLUTELY NOT a repair for non technician. You simply do not have access to the part of the mechanism that is causing the noise! If you 'spray' anything on the shutter curtains it will ruin your camera FOREVER !! Anything sprayed will not reach deep enough into the camera to 'fix' the problem.

The noise has no effect of the proper function of the camera and I suggest you just ignore it or pay for a qualified repairman to fix it.
