My Nikon N70 is approximately two years old. About six or seven months after purchasing it, the camera wouldn't turn on all the time when I switched the on/off switch to on. I had to switch it back and forth a couple of times to get the camera to turn on. It didn't do it very often, so I didn't think much of it. Too bad, it would have been under warranty. Anyways, water under the bridge. It gradually got worse until last week it decided it wasn't going to turn on anymore. I took it over to the camera store to have them look at it and give me an estimate on much it would be to repair. Well, the estimate was about $220. I have run into one other person that seems to have a similar problem, but not as bad. I am just wondering if anyone else has had problems similar to mine with their N70 and if so, do you have any guidance on repairs? Thanks.
