Assuming that you now have a functioning body start looking for lenses. Do not for a moment think that just because a lens is Auto Focus that it will be any more expensive than a non AF lens. Also please please TEST any lens that you buy to see that it works right. Listen to the sound it makes while focussing and feel how smooth the Zoom works. If there are any gritty sounds or stiff areas in the focus or zoom PASS!
You might be better off forgetting the old ME series and just getting her a nice little compact Zoom AF or going Digital. Depends on you of course. Have fun and Take Lots of Pictures! Rob
