Sorry to hear your problem. at our lab about 2% of all film handed in for developing is blank. The only tip I can give you is to take care loading the camera. Most people just drop in the roll and slam the door shut in a hurry. Loading is the most important function of using a camera.
Make sure you understand and follow loading instructions that came with your camera, take your time and do not malform or bend the film leader in order to "help" loading.

1 Hour Photo of Venice

I thought i was taking some great shots until i took the film for developing, it came out totally blank. What could be the reason? Was it due to an improper loading? how can i prevent this from happening? Please advise, and many thanks.
