:Hello,
What sells jewellery is "sparkle" window light has always been known for producing soft natural lighting which is the kiss of death with this product. Use as much light as you can, which will also ensure you have enough depth of field to keep the item in focus from front to back, again "fuzzy" won't sell this product. I don't know what kind of budget you have but the very best investment you could make is a light table and a couple of strobes.

I'm learning how to shoot jewellery pieces in a home environment, and i would like to find out how i can make use of the natural lighting and flash to take these shots. Is it fine if i just use the window light and use the flash light for filling in shadows?
