Forget it, the chances of finding "legit"
contests nowadays is about 1 in a millon ! Most solicitations for "contests" just lead to what they term "vanity publishing sites that want you to pay them to see your photos in print. Some days I think the whole world is bent or at least not a 100% plumb!

We live in Australia and after a recent "problem" with picture.com are anxious to see if there are any 'ligit' photo competitions out there.
