Being a Nikon user myself, you can sort of say that I am biased towards Nikon. But ANYWAY, all I can say to you is that if your Pentax or Minolta system is working well for you, then why bother change to another system?
However, if your system does not meet your needs then it's time to do some serious thinking. Most professionals you'll see around will either be using Nikon or C@#$&.
