Well it's quite obvious that the Nikon 300 f4 should be your choice since the other choices are just as slow as your present lens. When adding a tele-convertor you are making the lens slower, so that makes it a flip of a coin. There are faster telephotos and zooms available, but the prices are out of reach of most amateur photographers. Your only other option is high-speed film (say iso-800) and bright daylight.
