On Photoshop 5 I've been able to print multiple pictures on one page by going to: file/automate/contact sheet. The only problem is, when you print out the photos the resolution just isn't there. You can see the pixels on a 1meg print that is only maybe 4X5 inches. I can do this using a desktop publishing program, but it doesn't align the prints for you. You have to manually open and size each print. If you know of a program that does this, let me know. It would make things much easier for me. I have several photo-editing and publishing programs, but can't find a way of doing this properly. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it's available on Photoshop 5.0, but on Photoshop 6 you can use : File>Automate>Picture package.

I found that I can increase the resolution when using file>automate>contact sheet. I tried this and it solved my problem.

you dont need another program Photoshop is fine. Here's what
you do:
Create a new blank image say A4 then open the your other images
and click drag them in the new image file, use the guides or the
built in alignment and finaly print out the new doc. You can even
make actions out of it. You have the best tool in the business to
work with.

Hello John, What you need is a decent printer utility not another graphics package. Some programs have a decent print formatter built in. What you are doing when you use the contact print option is telling the program to print what are really just thumbnails which is why it strips resolution. Believe it or not Microsofts "Picture it" has a pretty good page formatter. Allows you to print multiple print sizes on single pages at full resolution. Other programs I am sure have the same thing. -- Mikeb

Thanks Mike, I have "Microsoft Photo Editor", but not "Picture It". I'll see if I can steal a copy on eBay.
