Asahi is the optical company that manufactured Pentax cameras. Honeywell was the USA marketer for Pentax cameras. I suppose that Heilibrand was a marketer for other countries. During Viet Nam a lot of us bought Japanese cameras while in Southeast Asia, they all (Spotmatics) had the Asahi name on them. I noticed when I got back home that the ones sold in the USA had the Honeywell name on them (same camera). Asahi started producing the Spotmatic cameras in 1964, and it was (so I've been told) the first 35mm SLR with TTL metering. You can find out when a camera was made by its serial number, but you'll need a reference list to match the number with a date. You'll have to use "Google" or "Yahoo" to get more info, I just don't have time to surf for the info for you. I've had 2 Spotmatics in the past and loved them. Good luck!
