My Samsung Digimax 130 digital camera was working fine until we changed from Windows 98 to Windows ME.
Now, after I install the camera, I turn it on and I get the "blue screen of death" and an error message about my USB. My mouse is also plugged into the other USB. I switched them and the mouse still works great but the camera will always cause this error....any ideas why? -- Melissa

Just call 1-866-DIGIMAX, the help desk number for Samsung digital cameras.

what you have to do with the flash card is FIRST upload it to the internal memory of the camera (how to do this is written in the owner's guide. If you can't find it, contact me.)
if you want to upload a picture, turn on the camera, turn the little wheel all the way clockwise (pc), just open "my computer" and there should be a "virtual drive" where you can just drag and drop... the best thing to do is to drag them to a directory, and work them later. If you need more help on the cam, e-mail me lejeunetom@tiscali.be

i'm about to buy this Samsung Digimax 130 camera with no drivers but it has the cables. do i need any drivers? Thanks, shahied
Editor's Note: all digital cameras require software drivers to interface with a PC or Mac. Be sure you can download them from the manufacturer's web site before buying any used digital camera. Be also aware that some older digital cameras will not work with Windows XP without special drivers and camera manufacturers are not offering drivers for all older models. The best solution for ALL digital cameras is to buy a SmartMedia or CompactFlash card reader (depending on which memory card your camera uses) and you'll never have to use cables again to download your pictures. Card readers come with their own software drivers and are seen by your computer as another drive like the CD drive or floppy drive.
