: I'm looking for any information on the Cosina CX-2 camera. Parts available? Who repairs?
: Thanks

Your Cosina CX-2 was first manufactured in 1980. It's a 35mm full frame ultra compact camera with a fixed "35mm (f2.8-16) five-element, focusing lens. Very similar in appearance to the Olympus XA. Viewfinder. CDS meter. Aperture-priority automatic exposure. Shutter speeds of 2 seconds to 1/500. Special motor drive available. Special flash available. Hot shoe on top. Self-timer, tripod socket. Neat, twisting lens/viewfinder cover. Film speeds from 25 - 400." (Quotation from http://members.aol.com/xkaes/aps.htm)

I am absolutely sure parts are not available for a 21 year old camera, but you can always ask http://www.cosina.com/Service%20center.htm

One fairly common flaw reported with the Cosina CX-2 is a broken focusing fork - see how one person repaired his here http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/epoxycosina.html
