Minolta Maxxum Htsi Please help

I recently bought a used Minolta Maxxum Htsi. I took it to a camera shop repair and they said it is a wonderful camera/nothing wrong with it. Everytime I go to take pictures it says "err" after only two pics. The only way to keep taking shots is to turn it off and on again. Can anyone help me...........I do not have a manual.
