Hello!
I would like to buy a professional digital camera for a
commercial purpose which is publishing a travel essay with a lot
of beautiful pictures. What i would call, "Photo-essay"
book. Is it possible to get an excellent resolution and accuracy
from a digital camera like a film camera when it comes to the
printed images on a photographic book, in my case, a photo-essay
book?
Editor's Note: A qualified yes, if you buy a 5 or 6 megapixel digital camera.

Oh yes! Just thumb through the latest "Popular Photography" (July) magazine. Pop Photo magazine has several shots that were taken with digital cameras, and some which were digitized using Adobe Photoshop. Check out the travel section (page 22) which has photos taken in the Amazon using a Canon digital SLR.
