: Other than profit, might there be some explanation as to why APS film processing is a lot more expensive than 35mm? One local supermarket which uses a lab owned by a film manufacturer, charges $4.99 for processing/printing a 24 exp. roll of 35mm, yet charges $10.99 for a 25 exp. roll of APS.
: Due to the design of APS, it would seem like it would be easier to process/print a roll of APS, than it would a roll of 35mm.
Hi,
Well you are completely wronge, There is considerably more labour and cost between APS
and 35mm. I will not write a book on the subject
but we can process and print 50% more 35mm'
per hour then APS. Don't blame the lab, you bought the "hype" on APS not us, you pay what it
cost's ! COmplaints to Kodak please they came up
with the stupid system, buy don't worry APS is
dying on the vine soon it will bw gone anyway.
