Have been using my Kodak DC4800 digital camera for over a year with no problems. All of a sudden, the camera locks up. I have charged batteries in the camera, and have also plugged into wall. Same problem with and without a Flash card in camera. In the "P" mode, it asks me to set the year, date, etc. That is only supposed to happen in the setup mode. There is nothing on the screen when in the setup mode. When I try to put the year, etc. into camera, rthe screen goes blank. I see NOTHING.
Does anyone know what the problem is, and if so, how to fix it? Kodak says to send $150 and postage and they will fix. As a last resort I will do that, but hope the problem does not take Kodak's work. Thank you.
