: I purchased two lens at an auction thinking they would work with my AE-1 camera. Could you tell me what camera they would fit on. The print on the lens read:

: DeJUR AUX WIDE ANGLE LENS DISTANCE TO OBJECT 2M- MADE IN JAPAN
: DeJUR AUX TELPHOTO LENS DISTANCE TO OBJECT 2M- MADE IN JAPAN

Without seeing the lenses, it is difficult to tell. They could be auxiliary lenses for camcorders or auxiliary lenses for rangefinder cameras. In both cases they would have threads on the rear of the lens for screwing into the front of the camera or camcorder lens. The rear end of a Canon FD lens (the lens mount used on the Canon AE-1) does not have threads on the rear but would instead have a protruding steel lever which moves in a slot, a small steel pin, and a knurled ring around the rear of the lens for cinching up the bayonet mount. The only 'lenses' which will attach to the front of a Canon FD lens are close-up lenses which are almost indistinguishable from filters. A teleconverter would increase the focal length of your existing Canon lens (at the expense of image quality and loss of lens speed) and it would attach to the back of your Canon lens and then be attached to the camera.
