Over the past few years, I have been purchasing Burnes photo albums, which have an excellent reputation. I have been very dismayed to notice, however, that the plastics of my albums tend to deteriorate after several months. They become stained and discolored, greatly affecting the overall appearance of my photographs.
I have experienced this problem with three Burnes albums so far (all with slip-in pockets). My albums are kept in a relatively dust-free place and they are rarely handled, so I am very puzzled as to why this could be happening.
I would greatly appreciate any comments or ideas, since I want my photos to be well-preserved. Thank you!
