: I've just inherited a Kodak Retina IIIc that looks beautiful but does not have a functional light meter or shutter, and possibly advancer. I'm wondering if it's worth getting fixed. A place I know in Manhattan has said that it could probably fix the shutter but not the light meter. Is it worth it and if so what is the maximum I should pay?
Hi,
With that many problems it sounds like a lost cause. If it is a IIIC (note the capital "C", maybe it's worth some researching on prices to repair everything. if it is a IIIc (lower case "c")Repair costs would exceed it's value.
