I am presently attempting to repair one of my SRT-101 cameras. The repair manual refers to a jig to be used when replacing the av and tv cords and attaching them to the winding mechanism. Apparently the jig is also required to calibrate the mechanism.

Where might I obtain this jig? A template of one or an accurate image of one may help. The graphic in the manual leaves a little to be desired.

If you don't have luck here, try the Classic Camera Repair Forum. Great Resource.

I'm a little confused about where you are having problems. I've worked on hundreds of SRT's and never needed a jig of any sort. Also, the cords do not attach to the winding mechanism. Perhaps you meant the speed/ASA dial mechanism. Anyways, I always try to avoid 'losing' the cord timing since it is a pain to get it all back right. I have thousands of parts for the SRT series so if you need anything let me know. You can order parts on my web page but always check with me first for availability. Don. Visit National Camera
