You'll be able to buy a working Super 8mm projector cheaper on eBay than what it will cost to find parts for your Vivitar movie projector which is almost surely 20+ years old. The only parts source for old photo equipment is cannibalizing an identical non-working unit. Unfortunately the same parts often fail on the same pieces of equipment. (Who says design engineers ain't smart!)
