Scanner repairs are best left to the manufacturer. Since flatbed scanners have significantly dropped in price in the last two years, the cost of repair may well exceed the cost of a new flatbed scanner.
Email is NOT the best way to get the answers you need, i.e. a shipping address for repair and estimated costs.
