HI,
I have an old type full size panasonic m10 video camera that will not eject. When you switch it on there is a sound of a motor runing, and all the lights come on, but when you switch it off the light on the monitor stays on, and the only way it will go out is to disconect the battery. I think that there is a belt that may be broken or slipping, so the camera can't return to the eject station, could this be the problem and if it is how can I get at the belt? Where may I obtain an exploded view of an m10, and also some simple instructions how to open it? I had this same problem about 4 years ago and took it to a repair shop, and was charged £109 for them to open it. Since it isn't worth £100 now, I would like to open it myself if only to get the tape out. Without doing too much damage!
Regards
John.
