http://www.photobattery.com/ has mercury batteries for your camera for 10 bucks apiece. These will last a long time in your Minolta. The original mercury type batteries make your meter more accurate than the common PX625A alkaline replacements. The PX625A alkalines are okay, but not as good as the real thing. The PX625A batteries are available at any camera shop or online.
