: I have a albinar 90 mtd-z flash and my foot is partly broken. Does any one know where I can get it fix or get parts?
Hello Scott,
Albinar was a New Jersey importer and marketing company which went out of business almost a decade ago when the owner passed away.
I spend considerable time last year without success trying to determine who actually made the Albinar lenses, flash units and tripods.
It's unlikely you'll be able to repair your flash unless you find an identical non-working flash unit and cannibalize it for parts. You might try posting a query to TechNet which is a mailing list sent to camera repair technicians around the world. You'll find the link to TechNet and other strategies for locating camera equipment parts in our FAQ (http://www.acecam.com/faq/camera-parts.html) the hyperlink is below.
