Don't worry about it; it doesn't matter. There were many many of these cameras made, and for collection purposes, you may have to wait another century before it is rare enough to be worth more than you paid the guy on EBAY for it.
Use your camera and enjoy it for its ability to take great pictures with minimal fuss.
