I can't understand why 800 would be to fast if 400 is to slow. What lens are you using? Also, if you are using a shutter speed over 1/250th of a second, that should stop the action. if 250th isn't obtainabe using 400 film, then less than 1/2000th should be when using 800 film. I just can't imagine that your exposures require a faster shutter speed than 2000 when using 800 film. Can't you adjust to a smaller aperture?
