I know you said you've changed the ISO, make sure that you have. Make it above 800 or so, change the shutter set to 1/80s. That should give you something like this: http://www.pbase.com/image/24742414

and if your scene is even darker .. go for ISO 1600, and 1/20s.

: Renee... I'm not a camera expert and certainly not one with digital but I found this write up on this web site

interesting.http://www.dcviews.com/reviews/canon-300d/Canon-EOS-300d-review.htmIt explains that the camera will underexpose pictures with high contrast thus allowing for detail in the hightlight areas of the photo. Being from a computer graphic background I can understand why Canon may have made the camera work this way. If the Highlights are over exposed you will lose detail (basically total white). The way we compensate for this in my industry is using the program PhotoShop and adjusting the curves of the colour spectrum. I too have notice the darker images with our studio Canon digital (D1s). This could be the explaination of why the images seem darker than usual. The only thing I can suggest is if you change your file mode from RAW to jpeg. I assuming more adjustments (on the camera) can be made to this type of picture format thus control at the picture taking stage. I was told RAW allows more options adjusting at the computer stage and could be the reason it is shooting underexposed. I hope this information might help you out.Jeff
