There are millions of good lenses out there for your Minolta..... both the MC and MD lens mounts fit the SRT101. You can probably find good deals in Minolta brand lenses, but many lenses from Vivitar, Tamron, Tokina and Sigma (and some others) are also good.

Your choices as to lens type are equally broad, but I'll suggest 2 easy options to pick from. If you want a zoom lens, something in the 70-210mm range offers good performance and versatility for the money, and should be easy to find in the MC or MD mount. If you prefer 'prime' lenses instead of a zoom, a handy combination is a 200mm lens and a 2x teleconverter. With this combination you will have your regular 50mm lens, 100mm, 200mm and 400mm to choose from at low cost.
