Don't count on it. Your camera needs a C-L-A (cleaned-lube-adjust). Good mechanical SLR cameras need to be serviced periodically. Garry's Camera Repair will service your camera for $45 plus shipping. This is something that cannot be done yourself, but only by a professional service technician. Garry has serviced many cameras for me. Check link below.
