I suppose you'd have to go with what everybody uses now - the electronic flash containing a Xenon tube, which can be set to produce the colour temperature of daylight (5400 degrees K?)
Note that this allows the use of normal daylight film and a very short flash duration.

: I am doing a science project on which is the best type of light to use for the flash on a camera and I was wondering if you could give any really good information. So please if you can, right back with any you might have. Thank You!
