I have a Pentax K1000 and am currently doing some nature photography with birds. I have a 80-200mm Tokina zoom lens with a 2x doubler. With this 160-400mm lens, is a shutter speed of 1/250 of a second fast enough to hand hold the camera or should I use a tripod? What shutter speed should I use?
