I looked in my GE projector lamp catalog. It lists several variations of the 253 as follows: 253-AR, 253-A serial number to 67796 use CZX/CXY. 253-A serial number over 67796, 253-AX serial over 91588 use DFA, DFN/DFC. 253-RX serial over 40535 use DAY/DAK.
: I found my father's old Bell & Howell 8mm projector in my basement, and I can't find a bulb for it. here are the details:

: There was no bulb in the projector when I found it, so I can't go by comparsons. I ordered a CZX thinking I had found the right one, but it wasn't.
