: my projector is a dual 8mm&super8mm and I use regular 8mm film. It has started to crumpel up the film in the process of showing the movie..Any hints and places for repair in the Atlanta area?

The first place which comes to mind are the folks at KEH.com - they offer in-house repairs in their Marietta, Georgia location. Phone Repairs - (404) 748-6050. Address 2310 Marietta Boulevard NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Before you make the call, here's a problem you'll likely encounter - lack of repair parts. Many repair shops won't work on old equipment for two reasons, (1) parts aren't available and (2) the labor cost for repair will exceed the value of the equipment. So don't blame KEH if they say they can't help you. Another solution may be simply buying another used projector to replace the one you have. Try local yard sales, estate sales, classified ads, KEH Camera Brokers, and as a last resort, check eBay. I say 'last resort' because I really like to handle equipment before I buy it.
