I own two Asahi Pentax cameras, both acquired at garage sales. One, is a Spotmatic s/n 2948911, w/all metal film advance lever and 1.4 Super-Takumer 50mm lens. It was made w/o a flash bracket, but I've bought an original bracket w/Asahi Pentax on it.

The other is an Asahi Pentax K1000 s/n 6193387,with a hot shoe, no self timer, marked "Assembled in Hong Kong". It has a 2.0 SMC Pentax-M 50mm lens.It also has a black plastic end on the film advance lever. Both cameras are mint, and were acquired for about $15.00 each(USD) !!!! I think I did good, but can anyone tell me about how old each camera is, based upon their respective serial numbers? Thank you. George
