: I have purchased a Sekonic 265D Flash Meter off ebay that did not come with a battery or manual. The cross reference book at my local camera store says that it used a mercury battery that is no longer in production. Does any one know of a alkaline substitute battery for this meter? HELP!!
The batteries you need are 625A's still available in Canada. Several outlets on the net do mail order sales, just do some surfing thier out there.
There is substitute battery called Air Quip but they are expensive and short lived. Another good soarce for 1.3 batteries of all kinds is any good hearing aid supplier, they have Air type batteries at very low prices.
