: I am having problems getting a VHS tape to tape onto a regular videocassette. I can get the picture on my TV, but the VCR still records channel 3 on the TV instead of the VHS tape. I have a Magnavox EasyCam camcorder and a Mitsubishi VCR. Thanks for any help you can give!

Some VCR's have an input control to manually switch the record function from "tuner" to "line". If that is the case with yours (which I suspect it is), you must switch to "line" to record the signal from another VCR or camcorder.
