Hi James,
This is my first visit to your forum and I was looking for some photography tips when I saw your post.
We had one of the most intense Aurora displays of the current solar cycle with lots or greens, reds and blues and most of the time the green is close to the horizon.
This solar cycle has past it's peak and now that the sunspots have moved to the center of the Sun we have entered the best time (next two years) for Aurora photography.
Did any of your photos look like the ones in the SpaceWeather.com Aurora Gallery?

Warm Regards
Bill
