Hey Jim,
I just bought a Yashica Electro 35 GSN on ebay myself. The battery required is made by Duracell. The number is 164a and it runs around $7. The manual says that Eveready makes one and the number is E164. I need to get out today and buy one. I just love the camera. I had one about 25 years ago and I kicked myself for selling it. It's an excellent workhorse and takes quality photos.
