The Ricoh RW-1 has panoramic capabilites and is dirt cheap at $15 to $30. But don't use any film under 400 ASA. I recommend Fuji Superia 400 for this camera--I've got one and tried several different films before I got good results with the Fuji.

Another possibility, though not as cheap, is the "true" 35mm panorama camera: The Horizon 202. Most of what is beng touted as 35mm panos are simply regular 35mms with a mask that crops the film to give a wider look. the Horizon 202 is a true, full 35mm pano...basically a double length image (24 x 58, if I remember correctly), a swing lens mechanism with a modest wide angle lens. It covers 120 degrees horizontally and 44 degrees vertically.

Quite a few people are using them because they are great introduction to true panoramic photography. Here's some fairly honest user information on this camera. "Experiences with the Horizon 202"

Editor's Note: The Horizon 202 panoramic camera can be purchased brand new from Russia2All for $289. You'll find Russia2All in our Index of Specialty Mail Order Dealers.
