Get a used Nikon FM, FM2N, EM, EM-2 from E-bay. A good specimen will be 175-250$. They are all great cameras which will last forever. The electricity/circuits in modern AF SLR's will last 20 years max. Congrats on your choice of Nikon. They are the best. Other brands can't hold a candle to Nikon.
