Battery cap on Canon Z85 camera (is attached with a screw) has broken at the screw, need new cap. We are a preschool and we take pictures every day. If someone could advise where I can replace this, it would be appreciated.
This is a 35 mm camera. I have checked with two excellent camera shops, both told me they do no repairs in-house and to send it away would me $100+ because the place they send it requires a complete check-up and cleaning. $100. is a little beyond our price range for a battery cap. Any other suggestions out there?
