Looking for opinions on three different lens manufacturers for my Canon IIe. The zoom in question is from 70-300mm made by either Sigma, Tamron or Canon (Canon's goes from 75-300mm). My budget is approximately $250.00-$300.00. Most my photography centers around auto racing and shows. The best bang for the buck of course.......any ideas? Advance thanks for the help:)

I own Sigma, and Tamron lenses for my Nikon. In my opinion, they are just as well made as the less expensive Nikon lenses. You will be happy with any of the three, but probably get the best deal from Tamron or Sigma.

Editor's Note: I always recommend people visit Klaus Schroiff's WWW Photo Zone for an independent look at lenses and 35mm camera systems.
