I have an X-700 that I bought new about 8 years ago. For some reason the manual winder seems to be stuck. It will travel about 30% but no further. I haven't used the camera in a very long time but would like to use it again. Has anyone had this problem with the X-700? Is it repairable or am I doing something wrong? I think my batteries are dead, will that cause the winder not to work? Help. I really would like to use it again. I have a 70-210 lens and a 500/1000mm lens that I used to use for wild life shots.
