: I have a Canon Photura which I lost the camera instruction booklet to. when I try to use the camera the letters IE come up, I thought this was possibly the battery so I replaced the battery but still when I try to push the button to take the picture it won't push down all the way and IE flashes. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what the problem is
Hello, Michelle. The 1E means "AF setting NG", i.e. that the lens will not move to the right position when the camera measures the distance. Unfortunately, you will have to let a camera repair shop take a look at your camera. Good luck. Regards, Anders
