Hey all,
I have a Nikon N2000 without a depth of field button. Is there a lens that would show your depth-of-field before you shoot. Tired of guessing with mine...Regards, Thomas
Editor's Note: Many manual focus 35mm lenses come with an engraved depth-of-field scale on the lens barrel. Many older SLRs also have mechanical depth-of-field preview levers which allow you to stop the lens down to the selected aperture before taking the picture - allowing a photographer to see through the viewfinder exactly what will be in acceptable focus in front of and behind the subject. I don't know the specifics about lenses made for the Nikon N2000.
