I am looking for a powerful flash that can be powered by a
Quantum Battery 2 power pack. I need it for my Medium format
(6x7) Pentax. Is there a flash out there that will work for me?
If so what the *!?** is it?

Hello Dan,
The Quantum Battery 2 is designed for 9 volt flash units, which eliminates using many powerful 6 volt electronic flash units, including the Vivitar 283 and Vivitar 285.
Two flash units which can use the Quantum Battery 2 are
Metz 45CL Series (Guide Number 148)
Sunpak 544 (Guide Number 140)
