: I am considering buying a used Minolta Maxxum 7000 from
several different sources. I have a few concerns;
: It seems many of them have led displays which show spotting or
leakage. Is this a major problem? Can these displays be replaced
economically? Any general comments on this camera?
: Thanks.
Hi Ray,
The 7000 Minolta is a very outdated camera. Slow to focus if it
actually focuses at all. The controls are an operators nightmare.
Just my opinion but I think the camera is better suited as a
hiding place for fish in the bottom of a tank (open the back
before you drop it in.) I think you should do some more
"research", there are much better choices out there. Do
you need auto focus?
