If you're happy with the N8008s why change?
Sure, the F100 has faster AF and more sophisticated electronics,
but the basic package of the N8008s, or F801S in Europe, was and
still is quite a capable package.
BTW, The N8008S has matrix metering too, and the D metering only
has to do with using flash, which the N8000s will do without much
trouble.
